About Us

We're a diverse, four-season small farm, with about 2 acres of vegetables, 120 fruit trees, and 150 hops plants. We sell direct to local consumers and to a couple of restaurants. For more info, see the Kingbird Farms web site or our Facebook page.

We're about 25 miles south of Sacramento, west of the small town of Galt. We're a 5-acre inholding in the 50,000-acre Cosumnes River Preserve, a major project of The Nature Conservancy. Our nearest neighbor is about a mile away. Our neighborhood is spectacularly rich in birds, with migrant and resident songbirds throughout the year. We host large and graceful sandhill cranes from late September to March and the elegant Western Kingbird from April through August.
